She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond McMahan; and her siblings, Martha Freeman Cole and Jerry Freeman. She is survived by: her children, Mark McMahan (Mara Welch) and Laura Skinnell (Steve); her siblings, Paul Freeman, Betty Chandler and Bonnie Burleson (Blink); her grandchildren, Shane McMahan (Jordan Conrad), Kyle McMahan (Brittany), Justin Skinnell and Amber Joyner (Michael); and her great grandchildren, Hunter McMahan, Kenzie Benfield and Carson Joyner.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Maranatha Baptist Church (104 Downey Lake Rd, Dallas, NC 28034). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
