He was predeceased by: his mothers, Glenn E. Barnett Sr. and Stella S Barnett; and his brothers, Glenn E Barnett, Jr. (Skip) and Steve Barnett. He is survived by: his wife Linda Revels Barnett; his children, Donna Barnett of New London, NC and Jeffrey Barnett of Seagoville, TX; his brother-in-law Michael (Sharon Revels); his siblings, Gene Hoagland of Port Orchard, WA and Natalie; his brother-in-law Thurston Hicks; and his sisters, Linda Griggs of Stanley and Krista Barnett of Stanley. He is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews; over 20 great nieces and nephews; 16 great-great nieces and nephews; and 1 great-great-great niece.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, American Lung Association or the Kidney Foundation.
