With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sabra Hovis (Stanley, North Carolina), born in Mount Kisco, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 28, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence C. Hovis. She is survived by: her sons, Jeff (Lisa) and Scott (Kris) of Mt. Holly; her grandchildren, Jacob, Shelby, Heather and Savannah; her great grandchild Chandler (Marigold Summerlin); and her brothers, Tarp Young and Jim Young.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Baptist Church of Stanley Prayers and Squares ministry.
