Sally Jane Ormsby Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sally Jane Ormsby of Stanley, North Carolina, born in Ithaca, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 8, 2025 at the age of 63. She is survived by: her parents, Roger Townsend (Joann) and Judith Townsend (Al); her husband Dan; her sisters, Susan Borden (Bill) and Sherry Lombardo (Dan Ormsby); her children, Dawn Edwards (Ben), Jeff Ormsby (Autumn) and Matt Ormsby (Heather); and her grandchildren, Ames, Noah, Aaron Ormsby, Sam Ormsby, Grace and Everly Edwards.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (5481 Hickory Grove Rd, Stanley, NC 28164). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
