She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Wilson Wright and Kathleen Wright; her husband Harold Dean Matthews; and her brother Buddy Wright. She is survived by: her children, Linda Bell (Roger) and Scott Matthews (Natalie); her grandson Connor Matthews; and her sister Kathy McGalliard (Baxter).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home (375 Woodlawn Ave, Mt Holly, NC 28120).
