He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Lewis Gibson and Bertha Tucker Gibson; his son Chris Gibson; and his sisters, Janet G. Moore and Rebecca G. Hartness.
He is survived by: his wife Toni Queen Gibson; his daughter Dana Gibson Davidson (Kevin); his granddaughter Molly Gibson Wieczorek (Dan); his brother-in-law Vance Hartness; and his friend Randolph Faile. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
