He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Burnette and Eula Sharp Burnette; his wife Judy Thompson Burnette; his daughters, Debra Elaine Burnette and Sharon Diane Donaldson; and his siblings, Jay Burnette, Jack Burnette, Ned Burnette and Ruth Harkins.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jim Burnette of Charlotte and Carrie Frizzell of Canton; his grandchildren, Charlie Donaldson (Melanie), Andrea Bolen (Greg) and Katie Myers (Justin); and his great grandchildren, Meredith, Keylee, Tinley, Austin, Grayson and Jackson.
