She is survived by : her children, Dr. Robert William Bynum IV (Faye) of Rocky Mount and Beki Bynum Whitley (Dan Whitley Jr.) of Boone; her grandchildren, Sarah Bynum Whitley of Greenville, Mary Katherine Bynum Aznavorian (Dave) of Colorado Springs, CO, Dr. Daniel Whitley III (Katharine) of Swansboro, Emily Bynum Bartholomew (David) of Beaufort, SC, Julie Hawes Bynum Fraser (Jimmy) of Driggs, ID, William Macon Whitley of Stantonsburg, Shannon Dawson Fenner of Wrightsville Beach and Lesley Dawson McManus (Ken) of New Jersey; her great grandchildren, Robert Leo Aznavorian, Emma Frances Fraser, James Redick Whitley, Cameron Elizabeth "Ella" Whitley, William Thomas Bartholomew, Richard Taylor Bartholomew, MeHegan Bond Fenner, Julian Baker Fenner III, Jack Dawson McManus and Dylan Chase McManus; and her caregiver Clara Farmer.
