He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Johnson; his father Harold Best; his siblings, William "Bill" Johnson (Shelby) of Walstonburg, Robbie Best (Kim) of Wilson, Wayne Best (Kim) of Maiden and Vickie Sharpe (Tracey) of Black Creek; his uncle Tommy Griffin (Rachel) of Wilson; his friend Donnie Williams; and his brother-in-law Richard Newcomb. He is also survived by four nieces, one nephew; six great-nieces; one great-nephew.
