He is survived by: his wife Hazel Bell Thompson; his children, Gloria Boswell (Ricky) of Saratoga, Betsy Koonce (Victor) of Kinston, Dale Thompson of Oak Island and Kelvin Thompson; his grandchildren, Cris Boswell (Elizabeth), Marc Boswell (Emily), Hannah Stewart (Glen) and Kasey Webber (Andrew); his great grandchildren, Garrett Boswell, Claire Boswell, Emerson Webber, Sadie Webber, Isla Stewart, Lily Boswell and Annie Boswell; and his sister AdryAnn Swaney of Westville, IL..
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Wilson Memorial Service (2811 Fieldstream Dr N, Wilson, NC 27896). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
