She was predeceased by: her mother Annie Lee Ramseur; her spouse Thomas Michael Parson; her daughter Teresa Walls; and her brothers, Randy Walls and Portland Ramseur.
She is survived by: her sons, Thomas Lamont Parson of Galloway, William Tyrone Parson of Statesville and Chadwick Eugene Parson of Statesville; her siblings, Bishop Wilford Walls (Bishop Deborah) of Statesville, NC and Choyce Dudley-Ramseur of Phoenix, AZ; and her grandchildren, Ambresia Murdock of Thomas, Parson II, Thomas Parson Jr., Thomas Parson III, Brittany Parson, Makia Braswell, Xavier Parson, Sayon Cunningham, Joshua Cunningham, Darius Tucker, Ethan Parson, Amani Parson and Zhavia Parson. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Rutledge and Bigham Mortuary (603 S Center St, Statesville, NC 28677). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Belmont Cemetery (2000 E Greenbriar Rd, Statesville, NC 28625).
