He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Willett and Mavoline Jackson Willett. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Wishon Willett; his sons, Mike Willett (Kathy) and Mark Willett (Kristie); his grandchildren, Lauren Willett Jurcak (Mike), Matthew Willett, Tyler Willett (Misha) and Marshall Willett (Anna); his stepgrandchildren, Jadon Welborn and Kason Welborn; and his great grandchildren, Finn Jurcak and Lincoln Jurcak.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Wesley Memorial Um Church (825 Wesley Dr, Statesville, NC 28677).
