The family announces the passing of Bobby Gene Stiles of Statesville, North Carolina on October 9, 2026. Bobby, born on June 3, 1944, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Bobby will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Bobby by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Bobby is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Bobby’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Stiles and Murriel Stiles; and his siblings, Herman Stiles and Sheila Stiles. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Stiles; and his children, Sherry Marceron (Brandt Deal) of Winston-Salem and Todd Stiles of Greensboro. He is also survived by grandchildren, as well as five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the St. Pauls Community Church (3562 Startown Rd, Newton, NC 28658). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Pauls Community Church or Carolina Caring Hospice, 3975 Robinson Rd., Newton, NC 28658.
