She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Odell and Inez Smith Renegar; and her brother Larry Odell Renegar. She is survived by: her husband James Quince Martin (Jim); her stepsons, Brent James Martin (Stacy) of Fort Mill, SC and Kevin Ryan Martin (Samantha) of Raleigh, NC.; her grandchildren, Madison Elizabeth Martin of Fort Mill, SC, Kelli Marie Martin of Chapel Hill, NC and Jackson Ryan Martin of Raleigh, NC.; her stepgrandchildren, Ansley Crandall and Walker Ard; and her sister Alice Renegar Dwiggins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Beulah Baptist Church (1851 Old Mountain Rd, Statesville, NC 28677). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Beulah Baptist Church, 1851 Old Mountain Road, Statesville, NC 28625.
