He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward Sprinkle and Myrtle Ethel Miller Sprinkle. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn P. Sprinkle; his daughter Lynne Sprinkle; his stepchildren, Susan Comer (Mark) and Marty Waugh (Robin); his stepfather Johnny Leroy Ford; his stepgrandchildren, Cameron Waugh (Ashleigh), Emily Hawkins (Zach) and Kendall Waugh; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Mason Waugh and Ainsley Waugh; and his sister Shirley Ann Sprinkle Millsaps. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the South River Baptist Church (2659 S Chipley Ford Rd, Statesville, NC 28625). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at the Oakwood Cemetery (114 N Oakwood Dr, Statesville, NC 28677).
