She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie May Knight and Rolee Knight; her husband George Duke Sr.; and her siblings, Dixie Montgomery and Jerry Dennis Knight.
She is survived by: her sons, George Duke (Teresa) and Dean Duke (Rita); her granddaughters, Stephanie (Kyle) and Megan (Ethan); her great grandchildren, Austin (Karlie) and Abel; her sisters, Iris Blackmon and Frances Lloyd; and her niece Diane Staples.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Troutman Funeral Home (345 N Main St, Troutman, NC 28166). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
