She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Garfield Goforth and Gertrude Warden Goforth; her husband Thomas Samuel; her son Thomas "Tommy" Samuel Williard III; her son-in-law Robert Thompson; and her siblings, Ada Goforth Thomas (Paul), Ella Mae Goforth, Hoyle Goforth (Caroyln), DW Goforth (Caroleta) and Jeanette Goforth.
She is survived by: her daughter Tandra Williard Thompson; her daughter-in-law Robin Sherill Williard; her grandchildren, Tandra Michelle Thompson Lintz (Dennis), Tamara Williard Payne, Robert Thompson Jr. (Hong), Robert Thomas (Melissa), Ramon Thompson (Carol) and Matthew Williard (Amy); her great grandchildren, Ciandra Lintz, Samantha Lintz Rico (Christian), Madison Thomas Beasley (Blake), Logan Thomas, Robert Thompson, Luke Payne, Rohann Thompson, McKinna Thompson and Maddalyn Brant; and her grandchildren, Barry Thomas and Paulette Keys. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Troutman Funeral Home (345 N Main St, Troutman, NC 28166). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County, 2341 Simonton Road, Statesville NC 28625.
