She was predeceased by: her husband Boyce Fox; and her brothers, Johnny Chandler and Leroy Chandler. She is survived by: her parents, Jack B. Chandler and Iva Lee Reavis Chandler; her children, Alton Fox (Lucille), Lynn Fox (Ellen) of Statesville, Gail Fox Poole (Clay) of Moravian Falls, Lisa Fox Hoover (Charles) and Melanie Fox Grant of Statesville; her siblings, Orville Chandler of Catawba, Bill Chandler (Diane) of Maiden and Marie Chandler Goble of Catawba; and her grandchildren, Lemuel, Heather, Ashley, Amanda, Stephanie, Emily, Dustin and Jeremy.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nicholson Funeral Home (135 E Front St, Statesville, NC 28677). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery (285 Mt Hermon Rd, Statesville, NC 28625).
