He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Frederick and Dola Sullins Frederick; his daughters, Julia Frederick Kowalski and Stephanie Rector Brooks; his brothers, Charles Frederick (Betty) and Jack Frederick (Sharon); and his brothers-in-law, Mitch Knierim and Robert Craig.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Creedmore Frederick; his children, Denise Diedering (Lonnie), Howard Frederick (Leigh), Stephen Rector (Mandy) and Christy Georgeson (Ray); his grandchildren, Ryan Diedering, Zack Langley, Nikolas Frederick, Carmen Sigala, Noah Rector, Elijah Rector, Luke Prevette, Adam Prevette, Lexi Forrester, Kipper Georgeson, Jeremy Poole and Grace Brooks; his siblings, Harold Frederick (Twila), Sue Craig and Carolyn Wyse (Kent); and his pet Izzy. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Troutman Funeral Home (345 N Main St, Troutman, NC 28166). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church (825 Wesley Dr, Statesville, NC 28677).
