He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Sherrill and Ray Ella Sherrill; and his aunts and uncles, Val Sherrill, Dupree Sherrill, J. C. Sherrill, Mary Lucy Sherrill, Mary Joyce Houpe and Eva Kurt.
He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Jane Sherrill of Statesville and Patricia Griffin (Winford) of Statesville; his nephew Dr. Kenston; and his great-nieces, Bellany Monroe Griffin and Keirston Griffin. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Clark's Chapel Baptist Church (806 Eufola Rd, Statesville, NC 28677). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
