With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce Isenhour Josey (Statesville, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 5, 2025 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Bost Isenhour and Clarence A. Isenhour; her husband Richard Josey; and her children, Eric Josey and Donna Josey.
She is survived by: her siblings, Clifton, Kermit Isenhour, Martha Isenhour Merrill and Judy Isenhour Rivera; her granddaughters, Erin Coley and Haley McNiel; her children, Debra Josey McNiel (Todd) of Stony Point, NC, Tami Josey Coley of Statesville and David R. Josey, II of Statesville; her siblings, Dwight Isenhour, Gary Isenhour of Statesville, Sylvia Isenhour Sipes of Statesville and Karen Isenhour of Statesville; and her grandchildren, Sara Coley Ishikawa (Nori), Jeremy Coley, Shane Josey (Hannah) and Anthony McNiel.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Nicholson Funeral Home (135 E Front St, Statesville, NC 28677). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel (135 E Front St, Statesville, NC 28677).
