She was predeceased by: her parents, James Pate Smith and Mary Francis Blue Smith. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Capps; her son Brian Scott Capps (Krystal) of Statesville; her granddaughters, Madison Capps, Ryleigh Capps and Anastasia Blackburn; her great grandchild Malikai Canales; and her sister-in-law Grace Smith. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, along with several great nieces and nephews.
