She is survived by: her children, Julie Hall of Statesville, NC, Velor Sue Hairston of Hairston and Eeco Leo Hairston of Hairston; her siblings, Jeanette Wray, Linda Mae White (Bobby), Drusilla Tencie Outen, Joe Outen (Donna) and Clyde Outen, Jr.; her stepbrother Larry Dean Hairston; her nieces, Angela Little and Tasha White Young; her grandchildren, Justin Hall, Jasmine Hall, Vashawna Sharpe, Shamiya Sharpe and Jaicquese Sharpe; and her great grandchildren, Jordyn Chambers and Royce Chambers. She is also survived by other nephews and nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Rutledge and Bigham Mortuary (603 S Center St, Statesville, NC 28677). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
