He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Long and Vera Haines Long. He is survived by: his spouse Pamila Gentry Long; his sons, Jason Long (Kari) and Jonathan Long (Jennifer) of Statesville; his grandchildren, Isabelle, Maddie, Elizabeth, Lexie, James and Oakleigh Long; and his siblings, Carolyn Rutherford (Richard) and Galen Long (Candie).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Beulah Baptist Church (1851 Old Mountain Rd, Statesville, NC 28677). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at the Oakwood Cemetery (114 N Oakwood Dr, Statesville, NC 28677).
