She was predeceased by : her parents, William Smyre and Fannie Glenn Smyre; her husband Junious Walter Dobbins; and her son Howard Dobbins. She is survived by : her children, Mary Jane Dobbins, Larry Dobbins (Arilla) and Priscilla Dobbins; her daughter-in-law Columbia Dobbins; and her grandchildren, Justin Alexander (Sylvia), Erica Dobbins Gaither, Kendell Dobbins, Sharon Dobbins, Brad Dobbins, Randolph Dobbins, Donnell Dobbins, Bridgett Dobbins, Fred Miller (Kathy), Pam Littlejohn, Marketta Roseboro, Johnny Dobbins and Keke Dobbins. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Highland Acres Church of Christ (1301 McLaughlin St, Statesville, NC 28677). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the Iredell Memorial Park.
