She was predeceased by : her parents, John Porter Bell and Leola Bell Mullnex (Ida T. Bell); her husband John Junior Morrison; her son Norman Morrison; and her son-in-law Tommy Lapish.

She is survived by : her children, Tony Morrison (Vickie) of Statesville and Jeanette Lapish of Statesville; her daughter-in-law Robin Morrison of Newton; and her siblings, John P. Bell Jr. of South Carolina and Linda DeTitta (Ray) of New York. She is also survived by Eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Crestview Baptist Church (226 Crestview Acres Rd, Statesville, NC 28677). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
