She is survived by: her children, Patty Cone, Lisa Mozer and Steven Mozer; her grandchildren, Donyeill Mozer (Likuana), Ricky Long (Yashica), Dexter Samuels (Felicia) and Maria Gilmore; her cousins, Kordella Jolivet and Vera Knox; and her great great grandchild Peggy. She is also survived by her many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home (705 Davie Ave, Statesville, NC 28677). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery (114 N Oakwood Dr, Statesville, NC 28677).
