She was predeceased by: her parents, Haywood Gillespie and Martha Lucille Martin Gillespie; her husband Thomas Fair; her son Samuel Gillespie; and her brother Anthony.
She is survived by: her daughters, Valerie Tesoriero of Huntersville, Donna Fair of Statesville and Barbara Fair of Statesville; and her siblings, James Edward Martin of Richmond, Josephine Lowe of Statesville, Margaret Archer of Virginia and Harriet Gail of Virginia. She is also survived by Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home (705 Davie Ave, Statesville, NC 28677). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
