He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Gray Nunnery and Ann Ernestine Sessoms Nunnery; his girlfriend Katherine Jane Mercer; and his brother-in-law James Frederick Latza. He is survived by: his sister Judy Ann Latza; his nieces and nephews, Bradley Gray Latza (Chasity Taylor), Brittany Nicole Cornett (Marc), Brycen James Latza, Brendan Seth Latza, Bristen Hope Latza, Briella Elizabeth Latza, Brayden Walter Latza, Brentley Edison Latza and Brighten Brianna Latza; and his children, Abigail (Jon), John, Aaron, Bryan (Tiffany), Buckie (Madison), Andrea (Cameron) and Elaine (Brad). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, special great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Butler Funeral Home (6535 Clinton Rd, Stedman, NC 28391). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Concord Baptist Church (7591 Concord Church Rd, Autryville, NC 28318).
