She was predeceased by: her parents, William Holmes and Mary Holmes; her husband Jim Veasey; and her pets, Jessie and Boots.
She is survived by: her children, Valerie Whitehurst (Steve) and Anthony Hairr; her grandchildren, Rick Hairr, Heath Hairr, Patrick Byrd, Melissa Hairr, Mackenzie Hairr, Dalton Huston and Brice Amerson; her pet Benji; and her caregiver Ariel.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Elizabeth's memory to the Fayetteville Animal Protection Society, in honor of her deep love and compassion for animals.
