He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Jones and Mary Bell Jones; his stepmother Lillian Jones; his siblings, Phil Jones, James "Buddy" Jones, Emma Self, Eurania "Lucy" Massey and Rosa "Nancy" Massey; and his cousin Shelby Dial.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Jones; his sons, John C. Jones and Jamie Brandon Jones; his stepdaughters, Amanda Bullard (Stephen) and Stephanie N. Graham; his grandchildren, Chevy Jones, Jordan Jones, Nature Gore and Rilya Jacobs; and his siblings, Anderson Jones (Barbara), Yoma Jane Thompson, Barbara Ann Burnette and Mary Ellen Hunt (Gerald). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, church family and friends.
