Ruby Laverne Strickland Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 10, 2025, at the age of 93, Ruby Laverne Strickland (Stedman, North Carolina) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruby Laverne Strickland to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Clyde and Alma Jane Pope Autry of Stedman, NC.; her husband Randolph Strickland; her son Rev. Clyde Randal Strickland; and her siblings, Henry Kenneth Autry, Floyd Leon Autry, William Seymore Autry, Percy Theodore Autry, Jesse Colon Autry and Muriel Evelyn Autry.
She is survived by: her children, Ruby Darlene Fisher (Jimmy), Anita Florence Williams (Harold), David Allen Strickland (Beverly), Leonard Douglas Strickland (Judy) and Michael Wayne Strickland (Angela); and her brother Claude Leonard Autry of Stedman, NC.. She is also survived by her children, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church (6535 Oak Grove Church Rd, Stedman, NC 28391).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church, 6535 Oak Grove Church Road, Stedman, NC 28391 in honor of the Randolph and Laverne Strickland Family and the Clyde and Alma Autry family.
