It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Dare Bryant of Stedman, North Carolina, who passed away on March 23, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mamie Summersett and Otho Hilton Worthington of Whiteville; her husband Charles Douglas Bryant; her daughter Melinda B. Bynum of Rocky Mount; and her siblings, Milton, Hilton, Warren, Eugene, Kenneth and Miriam W. Horton.
She is survived by: her family, Philippines of East Lansing, MI and Cary; her son Charles Douglas Bryant (Chuck); her son-in-law Harry Bynum (Melissa) of Rocky Mount; her grandsons, Charles D. Bryant III of New York, NY, Zack Bynum (Meredith) of Raleigh, Alex Bynum (Alex) of Raleigh and Charles Lynell Bynum of Raleigh; and her stepgrandchildren, Marjorie Keel Gately (Tyler) of Charlotte and Jimmy Keel (Clai) of Raleigh. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
