She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Haynes Collier and Thelma Ruth Autry Collier; her son Walter Collier; and her sisters, Rita Morrison and Elizabeth Barefoot.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Jackson; her siblings, Edna Dickey (Ivan), Lydia Wrench and Grady (Gail); and her stepchildren, Robert Jackson, Jr. (Dakota) and Jamie Jackson Barefoot (Ronnie). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Butler Funeral Home (6535 Clinton Rd, Stedman, NC 28391). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
