He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Roosevelt "T. R." Wilkins and Della Suitt Wilkins; his wives, Ellen Jones Wilkins and Frances Wilkins; and his siblings, Leroy Wilkins, Bobby Wilkins and Joan Wilkins Clark.
He is survived by: his son Timothy Wilkins (Kim); his grandchildren, Ian Wilkins and Tessa Wilkins; and his sister Virginia Vaughan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sossamon Funeral Home - Creedmoor (834 N Main St, Creedmoor, NC 27522). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Wilkins' Family Cemetery (3213 Tump Wilkins Rd, Stem, NC 27581).
