It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Edward Briley of Stokes, North Carolina, who passed away on September 23, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Charles departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Charles may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Charles leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. Briley and Margaret Briley; and his sister Melinda Heath. He is survived by: his sons, Charles David Briley and Marty Wilson; and his former wife Jamie Rose of Greenville.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:20 PM at the Sweet Gum Grove FWB Church (787 Sweet Gum Grove Church Rd, Stokes, NC 27884). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
