She was predeceased by : her parents, William Riggs and Mae Stewart Riggs; her son Rodney Lee Steele; and her brothers, Jackie Lee and Franklin Riggs.

She is survived by : her son Randal Dean Steele; her stepmother Akers; her sister-in-law Pat Riggs; her caregiver Sarah Willard; her grandchildren, Courtney Willard and Cody Willard (Brooke); her great grandchildren, Ellyssa Willard, Carleigh, Wyatt Wilson, Brody and Cannon Willard; her nephews, Don Riggs (Mary) and Dean Riggs; and her niece Joyce Ann Donley (Wayne). She is also survived by extended family, like a daughter.
