It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildrey Flowrene Handy (Stokes, North Carolina), who passed away on March 20, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Mitchell and Kate Hawkins Mitchell; her siblings, Ronnie Mitchell and Leeo M. Kimmich; her son-in-law Ricky Mabe; and her grandson Timothy Mabe.
She is survived by: her children, Eugene Handy (Kristy), Frank Handy (Barbara), Dale Handy, Mildrey Handy Mabe and Belinda Handy Clark (Roger); and her sister-in-law Donna Moorefield Mitchell. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
