He was predeceased by: his mother Nancy Jane Perper Brown. He is survived by: his children, Andrew Heilakka (Liz) of Hastings and Kate Heilakka Kitson (Tim) of Perrysburg, OH; his siblings, Keith Brown (Beth) of Summerfield, NC, Valerie Brown of Hamilton, NJ and Sheryl Brown; and his grandchildren, Dylan, Nora, Jameson and Oliver.
