He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Wesley Wilson and Wilma Pearl Ward Wilson; his siblings, John Wesley Wilson, Reverend Grover Wilson, Ollie Wilson, Odell Wilson, James Wilson and Laura Kendrick; and his son-in-law Christopher Austin.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Branson Wilson; his daughter Marie Austin; and his grandsons, Clint Smith and Webster Smith.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:50 PM at the Stokesdale Baptist Church (8411 Stokesdale St, Stokesdale, NC 27357). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Stokesdale Baptist Church.
