We are sad to announce that on October 14, 2025, at the age of 91, Pinkney Southard (Stokesdale, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Southard (JJ) and Florence Lester Southard; and his siblings, Audrey Marshall, Leon Southard, Hollie Southard and Dewey Alton Southard.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Dunlap (Kenny) and Terry Southard (Sharon); his grandchildren, Billy Schonewitz, Christopher Southard (Emilie), Brittany Garner Alexandra (Christopher) and Samantha Plutro (Joey); and his great grandchildren, Makaylynn, Natalie, Lacie, Declan, Kate, Hannah, Brooklyn, Jackson, Louella, Maggie, William, Eli and Laura.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Forbis and Dick Funeral Service Stokesdale Chapel (8320 US-158, Stokesdale, NC 27357). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Stokesdale United Methodist Church (8305 Loyola Dr, Stokesdale, NC 27357).
