Stephen Douglas Howerton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen Douglas Howerton of Stokesdale, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 28, 2025 at the age of 67. He was predeceased by: his father Donald Ray Howerton Sr.; and his brother Donald Ray Howerton Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Lemons Booe; his daughter August; his wife Robin Howerton; his siblings, Gwen Dunn, Keiter (Angie), Kenny (Karen) and Mark (Angela); his siblings-in-law, Kati Howerton and Kenneth (Lynn); and his aunt Juanita Howerton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Forbis and Dick Stokesdale Chapel (8320 US-158, Stokesdale, NC 27357). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Stokesdale United Methodist Church (8305 Loyola Dr, Stokesdale, NC 27357).
