He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Joyner and Betty Jean Joyner. He is survived by: his children, Kristin Birchette (Nickolas Jacobs) and Matthew Joyner; his grandchildren, Cameron Turnbull and Jade Joyner; and his siblings, Rick Joyner (Carolyn), Larry Joyner and Pam Featherstone (Danny).
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Forbis & Dick Funeral Service (8320 US-158, Stokesdale, NC 27357).
