We are sad to announce that, on March 25, 2026, at the age of 94, Vashti Coleman Dalton of Stoneville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William R. Coleman and Rosella Chaney Coleman; her husband Raymond Dalton; her sons, Roy Wayne Dalton and Clifford Dalton, Sr.; her granddaughter Melanie Dalton; and her siblings, William Coleman, Rufus Coleman, Shirley Coleman, Maggie Easter, Pauline Lester, Rosa Tucker, Betty Evans and Jane Dalton.
She is survived by: her children, Tommy Dalton (Pamela) of Stoneville, Mike Dalton of Eden and Cindy Dalton of Stoneville; her daughter-in-law Judy Dalton; and her grandchildren, Courtney McDaniel, Clifford Lee Dalton, Jr., Ray Dalton, Tony Dalton, Chrissy Griffin, Tyler Dalton and Susan Russell. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
