With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William David Martin of Stoneville, North Carolina, who passed away on February 4, 2026 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Martin and Margaret Lawrence Martin; and his siblings, Dewey Martin, Jr., Carroll Martin, George Martin and Joan Richards.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia Shields (Stuart), Stephen Martin (Cindy), Jerry Martin (Sandy), Jason Martin and Vickie Layne (Keith); his grandchildren, Katie Louhoff (Adam), Kelly Gatewood (Kory) and Dylan Martin (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Brylan, Annleigh Louhoff, Addison and Brooklyn Gatewood; and his sisters, Jeanette Tapper (David) and Nancy Taylor. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in his name to Christian View Pentecostal Holiness Church, 425 Anglin Mill Rd, Stoneville, NC 27048.
