He is survived by: his mother Eileen Guardiano Kleinfeldt of Wake Forest; his daughter Sythia Hinze (Craig Lynch); his granddaughter Lillana Mae Lynch; his brother Richard Hinze; his nephews, Nicholas Hinze and Andrew Hinze; his stepsiblings, Patricia, Rob Hoyt, John Kleinfeldt, Michael and Angela Kleinfeldt; and his close friend JoAnn Madison.
