He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert Brown and Maude Elizabeth Douglas Brown; and his siblings, Robert Brown (Bob), Patricia Short and Ann Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Ann Harwell Brown; his daughter Angela Brown Wishon (Carma) of Stony Point; his grandson Dalton Wishon (Kendra); his great grandchild Everlee Wishon; and his stepgrandson Austin Eberly.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Stony Point Methodist Church Cemetery (312 Ruritan Park Rd, Stony Point, NC 28678).
Memorials may be given to Hospice of Iredell County (2347 Simonton Rd., Statesville, NC).
