She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Hampton and Margie Ollive Owens Carter; and her husband Robert Kilgo Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Robert "Rob" Kilgo, III (Jasmine) and Rev. Denise Kilgo (Blair Downs); her grandchildren, Kyla Kilgo, Aislinn Martin and Zeke Martin; her stepgrandchildren, Julien Martinez, Joshua Kidd and Jocelyn Kidd; and her brothers, Jim Carter and Dave Carter (Nancy).
