He is survived by: his children, Ted Stokes Jr. of Scotts, Kenny Stokes (Pastor Darlene Stokes) of Stony Point, Wanda Martin (Dwight F.) of Statesville and Sheril Summers (David) of Statesville; his grandchildren, Stephaine Burch, Craig Blackwell Jr., Latasha Stokes and Ted Stokes III; and his great grandchildren, Azontae Stevenson, Azaria Stokes, Aziah Stokes, Kyre Keiger and Syrus Blackwell.
