He was predeceased by : his parents, Turner Ray Rogers and Nellie Russell Rogers; his son Anothy Blake Rogers; his siblings, Kent Rogers and Shirley Rogers; his niece Sally Rogers; and his nephew John Paul Smith.

He is survived by : his wife Ann Rogers; his son Kevin Ray Rogers; and his cousin Geraldine Johnson. He is also survived by sisters-in-law whom he called sisters; four brothers-in-law whom he called brothers.
